State vehicles at the service of the government party

Thousands upon thousands of such state vehicles were used by the Chávez party to transport people to the voting centres. This one is from PDVSA. The ones driving were PSUV functionaries.

Below you see a rather blurred picture a friend from a poor sector in Carabobo sent me. These were the usual "motorizados chavistas", thugs in motorbikes who ride very close to voters and threaten them, sometimes shooting...so that they do not vote for the opposition.

  1. Eine kurze Erinnerung: in Deutschland wird niemand zur Wahl "abgeholt", die Wahl ist frei und wer nicht wählen gehen will, der geht nicht hin, das ist sein Recht. Es gibt keine Wahlpflicht! Niemand wird ihn, auch wenn freundlich gemeint, auffordern oder anbieten ihn zum Wahllokal zu bringen. Dafür gibt es die Briefwahl. Wer nicht fähig oder aus einem anderen Grund nicht zum Wahllokal zu gehen um dort zu wählen, bekommt die Wahlunterlagen zugeschickt und wählt Zuhause, alles kommt in zwei Umschläge, die sicherstellen, dass alles bis zum Wahltag geheim bleibt. Diese Briefe werden erst nach Schließung der Wahllokale geöffnet. Die Wahl ist frei! HF
