United Nations and the Bolivarian Ministry of Public Enlightment and Propaganda


The Chavista media is right now spreading the word that United Nations is about to pay tribute to the deceased Hugo Chávez Frías as if this were something special.

My sources from United Nations tell me this is the default procedure whenever heads of states and some other diplomats kick the bucket, no matter what their track record is. Here you can see the only reference within United Nations itself about the event...just one of the countless little events that take place day after day in that organisation. It is quite significant that the discussion about the committee for UN contributions has more importance within the schedule than paying tribute to the Venezuelan caudillo.

Venezuela is turning into this...but still with petrodollars for the whisky and the Chinese washing machines:
